The way you build the emotional tension between Rose and the Doctor is just incredible. It is almost palpable the feeling of the Doctor holding himself back from something he thinks he doesn't deserve and yet is being offered to him by Rose. I love how Rose is so in tune to the TARDIS and her Doctor, She is so open to giving them both the opportunity to be together in whatever way they possibly can.
I really enjoyed their trip to Gallifrey. It was such an intimate moment for them, existing in the Doctor's impressive 3D memories. Rose's anger at his family for disowning him was so in character too! Their lovemaking was so spiritual.
This part was so sweet and super funny too: It was a sight to see. There he knelt, this amazing man, this alien, nine hundred years old, holding her feet in his two hands like she was Cinderella and he was Prince Charming, looking at her like he hadn't had his fill since who knew when and she was a banana split with double fudge sauce and a cherry on top.
The end was perfection. I could almost feel their joy of a new beginning served with a splash of Amaretto ;)
