Here is a Leverage fic I created for

summerstorm.dreamwidth.org . It stars Tara and Parker with a little bit of spark between the two of them, and is endgame OT3, Parker/Hardison/Eliot, but is rated PG.

“You look great tonight,” Tara said to Parker, looking her right in the eyes.

Parker resisted the urge to look herself up and down. She was wearing black tights, of course, her favorite pair of low heeled black boots because of their excellent tread and water repellent qualities, and a black top. Okay, the top was maybe one that Sophie had picked out for her saying something like “feminine blah blah blah shoulders blah a little cleavage you know works wonders, Parker.”

Parker squinted suspiciously at Tara. “Thank you?” She tried not to upspeak but it was so confusing to have a grifter who was kind of on the team, kind of not on the team, and who was definitely not Sophie even though Sophie had promised Parker that she, Sophie, was not actually dead (usually people who were buried were dead but not, Parker had to admit, always), and that she, Tara, was a good friend of Sophie’s and that she, Parker, could trust her (Tara).

Tara continued to smile warmly with a bit too little blinking, and Parker continued to squint.

Up until a year ago, Maddy hated Led Zeppelin.

Two years ago, she hated the loud guitars and the singer’s nasal wailing. Then Mom got hurt and things got weird. Everything went downhill. Mom had to go away. They had to make her go to rehab, just like in that song where the singer says, no, no, no.

But when Mom came back, things didn’t get better, even though she was off the oxy.

It was trivial and stupid and it made Foggy mad. Matt was gone, and the world’s only response was a slight rise in petty crime.

For LJ Idol, we've had a break week, with four non-mandatory prompts, so I've decided to write a Matt/Foggy fanfic in four parts. Author's notes at the end of each part will explain a little more of my thought processes from prompt to story. Thanks for reading!

Quick summary of Daredevil for those unfamiliar with the fandom: Defense attorney Matt Murdock (aka Daredevil) is blind, but the accident that took his eyesight left his other senses super heightened. Matt's father was a boxer, and he trained with a strict master called "Stick" to become a skilled martial artist. Foggy Nelson was Matt's room mate at Columbia; they became best friends, went to law school together, and opened a law practice in Hell's Kitchen as partners. They are estranged because Matt lied to Foggy about his senses, and Foggy doesn't approve of Matt's life as a vigilante. Created by Stan Lee in 1964, Daredevil is now a Netflix series, with Charie Cox as Matt and Elden Henson as Foggy.

Please note: this story is Gen, deep friendship between Matt and Foggy. Takes place after Netflix Season 2.

The day is National Underwear Day. It is a challenge to help tiny figures celebrate underwear. So I put them to bed. :)

While doing research for this story (there is ALWAYS RESEARCH) I came across an amazing Etsy for “festival pants.” As far as I know there is no National Festival Pants Day, so maybe Underwear Day is close enough.

Here is also a great article about boy shorts.

I think Bucky wants to wear red satin boy shorts. I hope he can find some that fit him perfectly!

Two songs are referenced in the story. One is by Bare Naked Ladies, and the title is “Pinch Me.” It’s kind of the perfect song for the whole story.

The other is a novelty song. According to the wikipedia there were plenty of novelty songs in Steve and Bucky’s day, for example, Helen Kane’s Betty Boop songs, or Yes we have no bananas. By the way, Cyndi Lauper's album is named after Helen Kane's big hit, She's So Unusual.

Does the Chewing Gum lose its flavor is apparently a version of a song from 1924!

Anyway, happy Underwear Day! The Day suggests you dance around in your underwear and maybe watch a little Risky Business. :)

Remember how Dean had to interview this woman who ran an Antiquities Institute in Kansas City, and they totally flirted? so I wrote some smutty smut smut about the two of them back in s9 when Dean still had the mark. Her name is Dr. McElroy, from 9.16 Blade Runners.

Now, since Dean came home with a hickey, rode hard and put away wet, I have written a chapter two. It is all on Ao3. I hope you might enjoy in honor of Valentine's Day, and international fanworks day on Ao3! :D

ps I did not manage to log 500 miles in one year. It was a good effort though. :)

Okay here is a thing.

When I write something in a "flow state" and it just pours out, that is when my writing ALWAYS gets the best reception.

When I LOVE a project and when I pore over it and work for it, nada. WHAT. WHY.

So hey all you writers.... is it possible to incorporate the flow state into a daily writing ethic? if so how?

I have to say it's terribly frustrating for me as a writer to see work that I just "toss out" climb to the top while my darlings sink into obscurity. Is this "kill your darlings"? I hate that phrase. WHY.

Bucky pov. In this story, the Hydran serum gives psychic powers, and now that the War between Hydra and Shield has been won (by Shield), the Hydrans have been able to break their conditioning and use their powers for good. Bucky still doesn't remember who he really is at this point, because the Hydran wipes and implants went so deep into his psyche. He won't remember until he meets someone who remembers him.

Note: My action figures of Bucky and Steve often travel with me, and at a restaurant recently, a great Duke Ellington song came on the jukebox, which made Bucky really want to dance, and Steve was sorry there wasn't a dance floor. So in this story, I remedy that. Don't forget to open a window to play the music when it comes up. :)

Therapy, chapter 2.
This is an AU where Shield made super soldiers, and Hydra made Agents. Agents have superhuman powers of perception and empathy, and now that the War is over, Coulson has set up a Therapy program so that ex-Hydran Agents can use their powers for good by helping Shield Soldiers readapt to peacetime life.
