Some teachers (maybe most)... personally, I think a teacher should learn as much from the students if not more! Teachers should be perpetual learners! If I didn't know something, fine... let's look it up and research the answer together. I assigned labs where the answers weren't necessarily predetermined; it was all about question being asked and the validity of the methods used to obtain the answer. The students would work out the method to find the answer and report back.
